And they are red in the world in very different ways. My son is sometimes greeted and welcomed as a white male. He is sometimes read as an Asian male. He is sometimes read as a as a Hispanic male. And depending on where he is and how he is being received, he receives different treatment. So imagine what that's like to sometimes have privilege and sometimes not.
