You can't talk about startup marketing without touching on the subject of AI. Everyone has an opinion and first-hand experience. But today, we go deep into the topic with one of the foremost AI experts, author and speaker Katie King, MBA. Katie advises the UK government, which you may recall got out ahead on regulation in this area, so we cover governance at the state level, but also down at the corporate level. We also discuss how marketers can keep up to speed with the rapid development of AI technologies, and the opportunities it presents not just for the new generation of marketers coming through but for folks at any stage of their career.
I found Katie's take on AI to be optimistic, practical and encouraging. Yes there are changes in our space, many of which are disruptive, but Katie really challenges us all to get hands-on with these technologies and explains just how to learn about them. In fact, if you look at Katie's own career in PR, in consulting, and now after 30+ years, Katie's embarked on a new phase as an authority in AI, writing two books and being asked to speak around the world.
