Pallet flow technology typically involves high volume products; they can be found primarily in manufacturing environments where many pallets of the same item are produced. Others will use flowrack to stage orders for shipment, or in picking systems to store pallet loads of goods for high volume case picking. What Determines the Type of Wheel or Roller Used in a Pallet Flow rack? There are many factors considered when determining the type of wheel to be used in a pallet flow rack system. First and foremost is the pallet depth and application. If the system is only 2 or 3 pallets deep and to be used as a picking operation, then 1.9” diameter steel skatewheels may be used. Deeper gravity flow rack storage lanes tend to use larger diameter and wider polycarbonate wheels. However, this monitoring poses challenges, particularly due to the difficulty of interpreting ratios, often expressed in grams per square meter, as the production of boards varies depending on the flute type (B, E, C) and the corrugation (Single or Double), as well as the glue tanks operating continuously, independently of these changes. To address this issue, our dashboard proposes to track starch consumption in grams per square meter Equivalent, by converting all production to its equivalent of single flute corrugated board, flute type C. This way, the ratio will always be interpretable. You simply need to enter the daily data for glue and board production, and all calculations will be automatically performed. It will display the ratio for 15 days starting from day J1, which you define. Furthermore, it offers the ability to compare the performance of starches from different suppliers.
