We need to think about the actual duration of meetings. A 1-hour meeting to discuss a subject often comes with a lot of inefficiencies, longer than necessary discussions and loss of momentum. Read more best practices for meetings: http://bit.ly/2wxuShI

N meetings in one room (GeeksforGeeks) You are given timings of n meetings in the form of (start[i], end[i]) where start[i] is the start time of meeting i and end[i] is the finish time of meeting i. Return the maximum number of meetings that can be accommodated in a single meeting room, when only one meeting can be held in the meeting room at a particular time. Note: The start time of one chosen meeting can't be equal to the end time of the other chosen meeting. I was unable to understand the logic behind this at first so I had to take a look at the solution 😖 , 1. Sort the meetings based on their end times. 2. Initialize a counter for the maximum number of meetings. 3. Keep track of the end time of the last selected meeting. 4. Iterate through the meetings and select those that start after the last selected meeting ends. #geekstreak2024

★ Extraordinary Results in Fewer Hours ★ Hybrid Working Leadership ★ Team Performance and Productivity ★ Remote Teams at Outcomes Over Hours
I teach a module in my Outcomes Over Hours system called "Meeting Madness". It came about when a new client said to me a few years ago: "I have back to back meetings from 8-5. My real work starts after that". All I could think was: If your "real work" starts after 5, then what purpose are all your meetings during business hours serving? Most clients I work with choose this module, as meetings truly have got to madness state in most corporates. The first step is to take just a few seconds before accepting any meeting invite to think ... is this meeting truly going to add value? How do you cut down your meeting time? #OutcomesOverHours #Meetings #Productivity

Meetings that mean little or are 2-3X too long are the silent killer of professionals. Do me one favor, today, look at your calendar for tomorrow and cut 1-1 hour meeting to 30 minutes and 1-30 min meeting to 15 min.
