The most common type of ovarian cancer, which accounts for about 75%, is called high-grade serous carcinoma, which has historically had no early warning signs or prescreening options. But we now know that it originates in the fallopian tube, and once detected, performing a salpingectomy substantially reduces the lifetime risk of developing the most deadly type of ovarian cancer. We’re proud to support Dr Rebecca Stone of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Dr. Kara Long Roche of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in their work by making this complex topic understandable and actionable using our human body visualization platform. Learn more about this incredible effort in ovarian cancer prevention in this interview with John Whyte from WebMD: https://wb.md/42sJJZs Explore the interactive 3D model of the female reproductive system and fallopian tubes here: https://bit.ly/42ogzdK
