Sometimes the data doesn't tell the full story. Though visually looking a "bit better" (yes our CEO hates visuals) the data was interesting. Root mass was down considerably compared to control. However the structure of the two were very different. Treated had more surface area with finer roots whereas the control had some larger secondaries. This was also replicated in a wheat paddock at the same farm. Both crops had higher plant height, and the wheat had 30% more heads. But all that matters at the end of the season is what goes into the silo! #measuremeasuremeasure #bioplan

This is a great example of why data and visuals together can help tell a story. Given the structure of the differing root systems, it will be very interesting to see how they yield. The increased visual surface area of the treated plants should make better use of any future rainfall. However, if we don't get future rainfall then the control should do better because of the longer root structure. This is why working in agriculture is great. Always a puzzle and more importantly and reason to ask "why". #dataisking #measuremeasuremeasure #thepowerofwhy #takingthebsoutofbiology

🚜 EOSDA Crop Monitoring helps you spot low-productivity areas so you can take targeted action to prevent yield loss. Consider this scenario: If your average wheat yield is 5 t/ha and the market price is $250/tonne, underperformance of just 10% on 100 hectares could cost you $12,500 in lost revenue. An #EOSDACropMonitoring subscription for a 100 ha area will cost just a couple of hundred dollars per year, depending on the pricing plan. 💡 How EOSDA Crop Monitoring impacts your profit: - Early detection of problem areas in your fields - VRA maps for efficient input use - Historical data and analytics to analyze trends and make strategic decisions 🔍 Ready to boost your ROI and protect your yield? Let’s talk: https://bit.ly/3TFgyim

To keep your administration organized, it's important to register the harvest of the crop in Crop Recording. 🌾🌱 This registration includes, among other things, recording when a field was harvested 🚜, by whom it was done, and of course, the (preliminary) yield. These valuable data can be shared later with processors and contribute to a complete balance calculation 📊. cropx.nl/en/

The report revealed that the acreage for corn was larger than expected, leading to a bearish reaction in the market. However, Hackett explains that the actual production of corn depends on harvested acres, which may be lower due to the wet conditions in certain areas. He predicts that the market will eventually adjust to the lower harvested acres. The conversation also touches on cotton acres and the potential weather risks for the crop. The actual production of corn depends on harvested acres, which may be lower due to wet conditions in certain areas. In future reports, the market will likely adjust to the lower harvested acres. Cotton acres were higher than anticipated, but weather risks during the crop's maturing stage are a concern. Weather conditions during corn pollination in July will be crucial for determining crop yield.
