🔵Blue Innovation Day, last week in Valencia, Spain, at BIOHUB VLC hosted by Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir in partnership with BIOVAL Clúster BIO Comunidad Valenciana Cluster. ⬆️"This is a unique opportunity, not only for universities, but researchers, students, and industry to meet and bond over such an important matter—marine, coastal, and urban sustainability. It's important to appreciate the great potential of the Valencian region in entrepreneurship and innovation and the commitment of the Valencian government in boosting its development." Ester Olivas Cáceres Director for Internationalisation and Entrepreneurship, opening speech at the Blue Innovation Day, on 11 July in Valencia, Spain, together with José María Tormos, vice-rector of Research at the UCV, acknowledged that the Blue Innovation Day "is a demonstration of our commitment to the idea of Think Different in order to expand our knowledge and respond to the pressing problems of sustainability and the survival of certain species; to maintain the balance between ecosystems and, in this way, to return the sea to its crystal-clear blue". The event promoted international expansion of marine biotechnology through universities, students, researchers and experts by: ✅Sharing valuable information on the marine biotechnology sector ✅Networking and synergies to create new projects ✅Pool of talents with the innovations made by the students of the joint Master's Degree in Biotechnology of the EU-CONEXUS alliance in the research groups and their partner universities. 🙏Thank you to all the speakers and participants to join this wonderful journey at the coast of Valencia.
