With over 90,000 engineers already on board, Malaysia aims to recruit an additional 60,000 engineers. Giants like Intel Corporation, Infineon Technologies, and Weeroc are heavily investing in Penang and Selangor. However, Malaysia faces challenges in retaining local talent and competing with other regions. #Taiwan’s success in nurturing tech talent over the decades, with its strong educational infrastructure and competitive salaries, is a model Malaysia could learn from. 🌟 Personally sharing, #Penang is an incredible city! Last time I went back, I was amazed by how many young, driven Malaysians are passionately building a vibrant tech startup ecosystem.
