Let me share a little thought on what a customer support manager earns annually. it's amazingly enough to see that this set of persons are making good money 🤑🤑 Base salary varies by location, company, and experience, but there are some trends to note: For roles based in San Francisco the average salary for customer support specialists is anywhere from 🤑$30k to $70k per year, while people managers may make anywhere from $60k to $160k per year. For roles based in New York, the average salary for customer support representatives is between 🤑$20k and $90k per year, while people managers may make anywhere from 🤑$50k to $140k per year. For roles based in Austin the average salary for customer support agents is between🤑 $20k and $75k per year, while people managers may make anywhere from 🤑$45k to $130k per year.... money money money. After creating your product and advertising your product. Who is your sales rep/customer care support that represents your company? They are the first point of call. Clients look up to them to answer questions and explain in clear terms about the products/services. Are they patient enough to answer every question thrown at them no matter how silly those questions may sound? Who you employ as a customer rep/customer support also determines if you will have a returning /satisfied customer. An entrepreneur told a story of how her customer support person was being rude to intending clients. She was not aware for a long time until someone commented on her business post. More persons supported the comments that it was true. She did her investigations by sending a DM to each person who commented and liked the comment of the aggrieved customer. While rendering the best service/product, do well to get an Emotionally intelligent Customer Support person for the role.
