Human Performance Scientist | Keynote Speaker | Consultant & Advisor | Empowering knowledge workers with science-based tools to achieve sustainable high performance
How does exercise support sleep and job performance? I really enjoyed discussing this topic and more with Magnus and Max on the Lifted podcast. The clip from our podcast conversation references a recent study which explored this relationship using a combination of self-report measures and wearable data, alongside self-assessments and supervisor feedback, to evaluate work performance. The findings? Physical activity boosted sleep quality, energy, and task focus, This translated into enhanced job performance and creativity the next day. I'll include the reference for this study at the end of this post and a link to the podcast in the comments. ❓ Have you noticed the relationship between being physically active, your sleep and your performance at work? #leadership #wellbeing #performance ----- I'm James, a speaker & scientist who equips knowledge workers with science-based tools to improve their wellbeing & performance. Got a spare 20 seconds? Then give what James Hewitt is talking about a listen. We're not that complicated, and sometimes just taking a moment to sit back and really evaluate how we're operating is what's needed. We feel better when we move better, and we move better when we feel better. #movementismedicine #burnoutprevention
