#Researchers: Riboswitches can be used to assess the cellular functions of genes as their activity can be controlled by naturally occurring substrates. BI-5232, a synthetic TPP riboswitch ligand, has shown activity against a modified TPP riboswitch construct that can no longer become induced by its natural substrate.
