It was great to get sense of the current biotechnology market at BIO-Spring 2024. There is no lack of innovation, and, coming out of a difficult period, many are optimistic about increased deal-making between Biotech and Big Pharma. A great outlook for patients in need. Still, money continues to be tight. Importantly, the complexity of new modalities and uncertainty about time to market, potential modifications to IRA, and FTC rules increasing sign-to-close risk are making deal evaluation more #challenging.
