🌞 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting our second summer afterwork at Biopôle. And this time, the weather was on our side! Building a vibrant community is central to our mission at Biopôle. We take pride in initiatives like these that unite employees from our 150+ different companies, promoting connections and driving collaboration. 👏 We’d also like to give a special shoutout to BakerHicks, for sponsoring and participating in the event, but also for inviting a jazz group – Kuitzip Trio – who undoubtedly brightened up the occasion even more. Thank you to the +100 Biopôle members who attended! Let’s continue to support each other and make our community even stronger!

🌟 Business Updates can be tedious?? Not here at PebblePad - The Learning Journey Platform 🎉 Today marked a remarkable shift in how we connect and share at PebblePad! 🚀 Instead of the traditional one-way stream of information, our team embraced a new approach during our Business Update and All Hands event. Rather than a single long presentation from our executive team, every member had the opportunity to be a part of the conversation. 🗣️💬 At PebblePad, #inclusivity isn't just a buzzword – it's our guiding principle. That's why today, we opened the stage to anyone with a story to tell or an experience to share. Each session lasted 25 minutes, allowing for a rich tapestry of insights and perspectives to emerge. 🎤 Personally, I had the privilege of being involved in two topics today. I also had the freedom to choose sessions to attend and that made this event incredibly valuable. Here's why: 1️⃣ The Exec team saved valuable time by not having to prepare lengthy presentations. This set up also allows the team to gain insight into different perspectives from different departments. 2️⃣ Employees felt trusted, valued, and truly heard. 3️⃣ Even though we're only halfway through, I already feel more connected and enthusiastic about everything being shared. 🌟 To all my wonderful colleagues, the whole team included: Thank you for your kind words and invaluable input during our morning session. Seeing so many of you there was truly amazing! 😊 Let's keep this momentum going as we continue to innovate and #collaborate . 💪 #PebblePad #Innovation #Collaboration #EmployeeEngagement #Teamwork #AllHands #BusinessUpdate #Diversity #Inclusivity #Inspiration 🌐 #inclusivitymatters
🙌The PebblePad Team are excited for our first online staff conference that features talks from across the team (and the world!). 👀🌍 From note taking to product personas - talks span all topics of expertise chosen by each speaker.📢 We're excited to learn something new, get insights into other parts of the business and come together as a team to dedicate a day to discovery 🎒 ⭐Thank you and good luck to all our speakers: Carole Hunter, Sabrina Blackmon, Claire Weir, Christa B., Rachel Ward, Matt Rice, Louise Gibbs, Fabienne Loveder, Jude Smalley, Edward Basham, Olivia Riley, Sam R., Alex Hajdasz, Gail Ring, Ph.D., Melissa Shaquid Pirie, James Littlehales and Nicola Sparkes 🙌

🎉 Grateful to everyone who contributed at the IxDA Atlanta Discussion Group meetup on Tuesday! We explored the significance of workshops in UX design, highlighting their value in several scenarios: Tackling Complexity: When challenges escalate in complexity, having a subject matter expert onboard is invaluable, enabling the team to navigate intricate issues effectively. Embracing Diverse Perspectives: Diverse viewpoints from team members and users fosters richer insights and innovative solutions. Securing Stakeholder Buy-in: UX workshops serve as catalysts for securing stakeholder buy-in, pivotal for propelling projects forward. Fostering Creativity: UX workshops ignite creativity, sparking novel approaches and out-of-the-box thinking. Building Strong Teams: Beyond project outcomes, UX workshops double up as tools for team building, forging stronger bonds and collaborative spirit amongst team members. How do you use workshops to improve your design process? #IxDA #UXDesign #Collaboration #Innovation #Teamwork
