A date with the dietitian Is sharing truely caring..? Do you share your slides after presentation with your trainees? Or do you decline by saying that its your intellectual output.. I had this question directed a week ago. I had a few interesting situations whereby: 1. Slides were asked for validation and then kena 'ghosted' 2. My Slides was used for other trainings after my workshop by the clients Do you provide print out only for references? I never had this issue for 20 years while dealing with healthcare talks and conferences..only when i shifted to corporate, this issues surfaced..and im sure im not the only one with this problem. I usually use infographics and pictorial charts..coz i know my slides in and out..less words most of the time..so nak plagiarism skrg susah ler.. So , is sharing truly caring? Till we meet on our next date Abng Singh

Parenteral Separation Anxiety is a major concern while taking a child for any procedure or intervention. Most of the time I used this MEOW ( A glove inflated with Oxygen and eyes, lips made with color Markers ) to avoid the injection infront of parents. This affordable innovation works most of the times in pacifying the kids. An extra ordinary Balloon for them. NB - consent taken from parents for the pic. What is the business innovation learning from this? 1. Try to alleviate the pain points of your customer. 2. Use the means what is new for your customer. ... I could have used the normal balloon 🎈 available in the market. However we have used locally available cost effective stuff for a novelty. Children like this prop more than conventional Ballons. 3. Customise according to consumer need. .... Eyes, noses, mouth made with COLOURED INK. 4. Branding .with a trendy name that appeals to consumer... MEOW a trendy word for cats which is an adorable animal for children. 5. Multiplier effect: Child is happy ...so also the parents and the treating team. 6. Cost effective.... Gloves are routinely available stuff in hospitals.... the prop made with a glove will not affect the input cost to the hospital significantly and we also don't require a financial approval for that.... so management is also happy. Now tell me " WHAT IS YOUR COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION " for customer engagement & satisfaction.

Here's the thing about healthcare: It's always changing. New drugs. New treatments. New diseases. If you stop learning, you stop growing. And if you stop growing, you become stagnant. That's not good for you or your patients. As a pharmacist, it's your responsibility to stay on top of the latest trends and research. You can do that by reading journals, attending conferences, and taking continuing education courses. But, it's not just about keeping up. It's about being curious and asking questions. It's about being willing to challenge the status quo. And it's about being a lifelong learner. So, keep learning, keep growing, and keep making a difference in the lives of your patients.

Hey everyone, I’ve been reflecting on some recent developments and wanted to share my thoughts. With the The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 in place, it’s clear that private bodies like IDA can no longer claim to create RDs or regulate dietitians, as the Act doesn’t even mention RD specifically. This is a step forward in preventing arbitrary rules, but it raises an important question: Is the RD certification truly necessary for those who graduated before 2024?🤔 Many of us established our careers and ventures long before these new regulations, and we’ve built successful practices without the RD title. Now, to ask us to meet new recognition criteria feels unfair, especially when these standards didn’t exist when we started. There needs to be clear differentiation between those who graduated before 2024 and those who will be affected by any new regulations moving forward. Additionally, while the idea of a statutory body specifically for nutritionists is crucial for the long term—like the National Medical Commission for doctors—we need to focus on what we can do right now. We’re currently facing issues like being underpaid and disrespected, which need immediate attention. Perhaps we can also look into studying laws in other countries to draft a proposal for NCAHP, but in the meantime, let’s think about actionable steps we can take as individuals to improve our professional standing. Let’s keep this conversation going and work together to address these pressing issues.
