Last week at BioProcess International 2024 Hamza Patel and Ana-Maria Ionescu presented a poster with new data showcasing how IRO® has the potential to lower cost of goods (COGs) by up to 50%. When tested against a control manufacturing process, IRO achieved: 🔹 Higher CAR-T cell yield and improved transduction efficiency 🔹 Potent anti-tumor response 🔹 Shorter processing times Through its proprietary mixing protocols and automated fluid handling, IRO has demonstrated a significant reduction in the amount of viral vector and processing time needed to achieve the target CAR-T yield. We anticipate these reductions will lower process COGs by up to 50%. Reducing the COGs in cell therapy manufacturing is crucial to making these life-saving treatments more accessible and affordable for patients, supporting broader adoption and improving patient outcomes. 🔍 Want to learn more about the data?
