You may be wondering…How often should I float? We are here to tell you that floating is a practice. It is a personal journey and the benefits of floating are limitless and cumulative. Just like with any type of skill, it takes time to perfect. And, after your first time float experience, each time you float, it gets easier. Whether you’re floating for pain, meditation or recovery, you should take the time to find your sweet spot. So, how often should you float to get the most benefits? It’s #SelfCareSaturday. Did you know that August is National Wellness Month? I just found out. The month is dedicated to the notion that in between furthering our educations, raising our families, and building our careers, we need to take care of ourselves, as well. It's important because research has shown #selfcare activities can increase happiness by up to 71%. With that in mind, here are 5 wellness tips I borrowed straight from the #NationalWellnessMonth website. 1. Monitor sleep 2. Learn to meditate 3. Increase your water intake 4. As many of you prepare to attend the 2024 HBA (Healthcare Businesswomen's Association) Annual Conference in Toronto next week, we hope you remember to pack your athletic wear and running shoes! We are so happy to see morning wellness activities on the conference schedule. At Lime, we are firm believers in the importance of healthy behaviors, including physical activity, to increase capacity at work. The return from summer holidays allows us to restart the activities that propel us in our daily work. As kids get back into their school routine, it's a prime time to implement a regular workout routine.
