hello connections! Exciting to share with you about my work at "TOMMY HILFIGER" as an intern. 1. When I went there, for sure it was my first step to walk in corporate world,new people new environment. 2. It was little bit different from my skills which I learnt till yet but that gaining new skills or enhancing the new skills is only the motive of this internship.🏆 3. The people there are cool 😎and always helps to gain and seek knowledge 👔by providing the opportunity and grab the appraisal. 4. 🌟 Exciting Internship Experience at Ross 🌟 I am thrilled to share that I have completed 4 weeks of my internship at Ross, and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey so far. This past week, I was tasked with organizing men's clothes from the fitting room and ensuring they were promptly returned to the sales floor. It was a fantastic opportunity to dive into the operational side of fashion retail and understand the importance of maintaining a well-organized and appealing sales environment. 🛍️👔 As I continue my internship, I am setting some key goals for myself in the field of fashion merchandising: 1. Learn how to create eye-catching displays that attract customers and boost sales. 2. Gain insights into managing inventory effectively to ensure the right products are available at the right time. 3. Improve my ability to assist customers and understand their preferences, contributing to a better shopping experience. Looking ahead, there are several areas I am eager to improve and learn more about during my time at Ross: - Develop a key eye for spotting fashion trends and understanding how to incorporate them into our product offerings. -Learn to analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and promotions. - Enhance my teamwork skills by working closely with colleagues to achieve our store's goals.

That was my favorite part of the internship just getting to know a lot of different people and learn a retail store environment and how much it always changes.  🛒 What are the top 3 items always in your target shopping cart? - Legos, GG Granola, and Redbull  🧐 Tips for future interns - The main tip I have for future interns is to be overly curious. Ask way too many questions and stay curious about all aspects of your role, or others you may think you’d be interested in.  ⛳ Fun Fact: I liked this photo because it is one of the only pictures I’ve taken of myself golfing and it happens to be at my favorite course. 🌟 Exciting Internship Journey at Tommy Hilfiger! 🌟 I’m thrilled to share my incredible experience during my internship at Tommy Hilfiger, where I had the opportunity to contribute to both sales and operations while gaining valuable skills. 🚀 Sales Achievement: Over the course of two months, I was able to generate ₹6 lakhs in revenue, developing my skills in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and effective communication. 📦 Inventory Management: Managing an inventory of 5,000 products sharpened my abilities in inventory control, logistics management, and data analysis. A former student of mine secured a great internship last summer in NYC. But, she had interviewed with Bloomingdales and REALLY wanted that one and did not get it after multiple rounds. I encouraged her to stay in touch with the recruiter at Bloomies for the future. Yesterday, I received this note from her: "Jane...I wanted to let you know about a quick update regarding my job search--I just signed an offer from Bloomingdale's to be a part of their full-time buying/planning rotational program as a buyer trainee! I couldn't have done it without all the helpful advice/tips you gave me last semester, so I wanted to be sure to tell you...." This made my entire week. A "no" today does not mean a "no" tomorrow. Make sure you are not transactional with internal recruiters. Sometimes, they just want to see a little more experience. Go be excellent elsewhere and then try again.
