🌟 Exciting Collaborations on the Horizon! 🌟 🤝 I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with professors and leaders from UniSQ---Dr Lee Fergusson, Dr Susan Carter, Prof. Odette Best, Prof. Georgina Barton and explore potential research partnerships and collaborations between Morgan State University and University of Southern Queensland in collaboration with the STAR Scholars Network. The discussions were filled with enthusiasm and possibilities for joint projects that could benefit both institutions and the broader education community. 🎯 UniSQ's research clusters, with a focus on pedagogy, learning innovation, student experience, and community connections, caught our attention right away. These clusters provide a structured platform for researchers to delve into their interests more effectively. Moreover, we discovered our shared passion for exploring teacher well-being and its impact on student experiences – a vital area for enhancing the education landscape. 📚 Co-editing book series and collaborating on publications with scholars from both institutions emerged as an exciting prospect. This endeavor promises to enhance the visibility of our research and foster collaboration among faculty members. 🌍 Another promising avenue for collaboration lies in research related to international student well-being and experiences. As we exchanged ideas, it became evident that this collaboration could yield valuable insights for the global education community. 💼 Additionally, we discussed the potential for joint grant applications to support research initiatives and explored the possibility of hosting an international conference at UniSQ.
