The true identity of the inventor of #Bitcoin, pseudonym 'Satoshi Nakamoto', is being investigated in a UK trial scheduled to start on January 15. Dr Craig Wright claims to be Satoshi, and the trial will investigate his claims against accusations that his supporting documents are forgeries. NZX-listed company Trade Window Holdings is waiting with bated breath for the outcome, with a $2.4 million cash transaction at stake and more. A strategic investment deal signed with nChain – co-founded by Dr Wright – hasn't yet been settled, leaving them to scramble for alternatives in the meantime. The company is adamant that the nChain deal has not fallen through, but is only delayed, and it is seeking to “assert its rights” in any case.
