We are delighted to have been able to put something very significant back from our brand into the community, with a donation of just over £27,000 worth of Bitmore tech and gadgets to In Kind Direct’s fantastic ‘Supporting families to have a summer of play’ initiative. In Kind Direct works in partnership with Save the Children and a range of other collaborators to ensure children and their families in the UK are supported throughout the summer holidays with activities, equipment and free ideas to play, learn and live well. We are among the organisations that have supplied product donations during July of arts and crafts, toys, tech, books, sports equipment, clothes and stationery. As part of the Summer of play initiative, these are then pooled for a network of charitable organisations with links to children to access. Founded in 1996 by HM King Charles lll, In Kind Direct finds a home for all products donated by participating companies. In doing so, it prevents waste, and ensures these products end up where they are needed. This is a great organisation to support for Bitmore, not only in that we can help those most in need, but also of course, in terms of its role in preventing that waste. That’s very important to us as a sustainability-focused brand and B Corporation. #charity #sustainability #tech Kaitlin Marian

Basket CMO - Campaign Top 10 Media Buyers / Management Today's Inspiring Women in Business Director of the Year (shortlist)
I’m so excited to share something very close to my heart—Basket for Schools launched today, right on National Teachers Day! 🎉 We all know how essential schools and teachers are in inspiring the next generation. Yet, 70% of schools in England have less funding than in 2010. That’s a staggering gap! Teachers do incredible work, and though we can’t solve everything, we're determined to help where we can. With Basket for Schools, we've created a simple toolkit aimed at topping up school resources and generating much-needed extra funding. Here’s how it works: 1. Schools create a wishlist on Basket, adding items from any online store. 2. This wishlist helps the community see what resources are needed. 3. The community can support by purchasing items. 4. For every person who signs up and views their wishlist, Basket donates £1 to the school. A school can earn up to £10,000! If your school is interested in joining our initiative please reach out to us at schools@trybasket.com Let’s make a difference together. 📚👩🏫
We’re delighted to launch a new initiative, offering schools the opportunity to create wishlists full of items that enhance students experience. For every user who signs up and visits the list, Basket will donate £1 to the school. Know a school who could benefit from our 'Basket for Schools' initiative? Get in touch: schools@trybasket.com
