To date, we’ve received sponsorship for 6 sewing machines, but we still need 124 more to ensure each student has the opportunity to start their own business after graduation. This is a pivotal time, as many students rely on this essential tool to pursue their dreams. Yet, 70% of schools in England have less funding than in 2010. That’s a staggering gap! Teachers do incredible work, and though we can’t solve everything, we're determined to help where we can. With Basket for Schools, we've created a simple toolkit aimed at topping up school resources and generating much-needed extra funding. Here’s how it works: 1. Schools create a wishlist on Basket, adding items from any online store. 2. This wishlist helps the community see what resources are needed. 3. The community can support by purchasing items. 4. For every person who signs up and views their wishlist, Basket donates £1 to the school. A school can earn up to £10,000!
