A new historica record 2023. The total number of partners in Formula 1 reached, for the first time,112, and before the year ended the number was 113, partners from the USA. For the first time in the history of Formula 1 there was more partners from the USA than from Europe, so the balance between Europe and USA changed. McLaren is the team with the highest number of partners from USA. RedBull have climbed to number 2 on the list. RedBull was the team that signed the highest number of new partners from USA 2023. RedBull announced 7 agreements with partners from the USA. Haas was number two on that list with 6 new partners from USA. What can we expect 2024? Personally I hope Formula 1 can find more new partners from Europe, especially from Germany and France in 2024. But the strong boom in USA will for sure continue in 2024. #f12023 #mclarenracing

For the 2021-2022 season, it seems like McLaren conjured a perfect storm: Daniel Ricciardo's charisma casting a spell on American fans and Zac Brown orchestrating genius business moves. Brown's foresight in 2017, recognizing North America as an 'emerging market' for Formula 1, now looks like a masterstroke. The ongoing partnerships with Salesforce underline McLaren's savvy approach, propelling them to the forefront of the American sponsorship game. Now, turning to AlphaTauri, with Ricciardo at the helm, they've secured a golden ticket. The Italian brand, coupled with an Italian driver and the accomplished Yuki Tsunoda, forms a robust foundation. However, the challenge lies ahead: AlphaTauri must go beyond relying solely on Ricciardo's American fanbase They've got to weave a story that resonates not only with the American audience but also taps into the rich motorsport tradition in Italy. If they crack this code, we might just witness a substantial growth spurt for AlphaTauri.

This shift in the Formula 1 partnership landscape in 2023 is indeed historic, reflecting broader changes in global sports sponsorship trends. The hope for more European partners, particularly from automotive powerhouses like Germany and France, is understandable given Formula 1's European roots and the longstanding involvement of these countries in the sport. However, the burgeoning interest from the U.S. suggests a diversification in the sport's appeal, possibly signaling a more globalized future for Formula 1.

Interesting numbers, for Germany it could be a growth but for France I don’t expect it till a new french driver joins like Hadjar/ Martins / Pourchaire. The country is really cut from F1 and pushing more in the endurance with 2 mastodontes as Peugeot and Alpine/Renault

Not really surprising. The USA always realizes in an early stage, where is potential to grow and Europe, especially Germany, is more conservative and the focus is so hard on sustainability, that companies partly are on enormous pressure! 🏎
