The Tuskegee Airmen were an historic, all-Black combat aviation unit that flew more than 15,000 sorties over North Africa and Europe during World War II. The legendary fighter pilots — known as the “Red Tails” — earned the respect and trust of the bomber crews they routinely escorted across enemy skies. Before the Tuskegee Airmen, no African American had ever been a United States military pilot. African Americans served bravely and with distinction in every theater of World War II, while simultaneously struggling for their own civil rights. Although the United States Armed Forces were officially segregated until 1948, WWII laid the foundation for post-war integration of the military. In 1941 fewer than 4,000 African Americans were serving in the military and only twelve African Americans had become officers. By 1945, more than 1.2 million African Americans would be serving in uniform on the Home Front, in Europe, and the Pacific. The Tuskegee Airmen achieved a number of successes during World War II. In all, the Tuskegee Airmen earned eight Purple Hearts, fourteen Bronze Stars, three Distinguished Unit Citations, and 96 Distinguished Flying Crosses!

NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) École de Guerre This week being JFC BRUNSSUM'S Mental health and resilience week, serving members of all nations & services ie: Army, Navy & Air Force embarked on a 3 day, cohesion & training event in Paris Versailles Military Staff college to play rugby. Cohesion and teamwork are essential elements that define the effectiveness and success of any unit. Through rigorous training, shared experiences, and a commitment to a common mission, military personnel develop a strong sense of cohesion and teamwork that enables them to overcome challenges and achieve their objectives. One powerful metaphor for military cohesion and teamwork is the concept of any rugby match. Just as soldiers embark on any rugby game, together, facing fatigue, uncertainty, and adversity along the way, they rely on each other for support and encouragement. Each step forward is a testament to their collective determination and unity of purpose. Just as every step taken on a long march brings them closer to their objective, every action performed in unison reinforces the strength of the team and ensures their success on the battlefield. Playing rugby is a potent metaphor for military unity and collaboration. Soldiers depend on one another for support and encouragement, just as they go on lengthy marches together and encounter exhaustion, uncertainty, and hardship along the route. Every stride they take ahead is evidence of their shared resolve and same goal.Every coordinated effort strengthens the team's strength and guarantees their success on the battlefield, much as every step taken on a lengthy march gets them closer to their goal. #WeAreNATO

How is being rich and wealthy more meaningful than having the honor in serving in the military and being in the military uniform?

Ever wondered why Danger Solutions was formed or why we are different from other companies? This came up again today in a LinkedIn discussion about the use of paintball rather than a proper training solution, so if you’re interested - here’s why we exist: The Australian Army is fantastic at soldiering. But the Army's understanding of what solutions exist to help with soldiering can be limited, because they're not involved in international Defence industry, they don’t attend all the conventions and speak with all the companies - how are they meant to know all of the cutting edge solutions out there? Danger Solutions was formed to find solutions to problems that Defence Australia has, that our international partners may have already worked out. We think we can solve some of these problems in Australia and if it’s solved by something we don't have, we will tell you who does and where you can get it. We are hoping that over time, end-users will call Danger Solutions looking for a solution for a problem, and we can assist, educate, provide or refer them to solve these problems and assist in the enhancement and development of Defence capability as a trusted industry partner. So if you have a problem and if no one else can help, maybe you can contact Danger Solutions. 😝 #TheATeam #TrainAsYouFight #DangerSolutions 🔺🔺🔺
