Very tired today after working flat out to move all our educational stuff onto a new learning platform BUT… super excited to be in London for the prestigious Black Female Doctors UK awards event dedicated to honouring the remarkable women making groundbreaking contributions in healthcare. 🏆I’m still pinching myself that I’m a finalist for 2 awards this evening. The Essential Baby Co in the Community CIC is getting an upgrade! We are moving to a dedicated learning platform where we bring healthcare professionals and the public into one learning environment. Where we can truly become partners in our own care ❤️ 🤩 I am merely a vehicle for the community who put their trust in me to amplify their voices and influence policy to improve health equity. They can see the potential and they see this as an opportunity to finally be heard. It’s not going to be easy but it’s definitely going to revolutionise the way patients and the public interact with healthcare systems.
