💪 How does Ready Rebound ensure quality providers for rehabilitation services in new markets? Luis A. Rivera Jr.., Founder of Ready Rebound, recently shared an inspiring story that sheds light on their approach. Luis began by explaining the origin of his company. “They truly are tactical athletes,” he said, referring to public safety workers. Initially named Tactical Athlete Health and Performance Institute, the company was rebranded to Ready Rebound. One key insight came from experiencing the job firsthand—donning gear, undergoing SWAT team training, and participating in defense tactics. This experience transformed how Luis approached rehabilitation, ensuring that providers understand the rigorous demands placed on public safety personnel. "When I saw these men and women couldn't perform certain tasks in my clinic, I knew they weren’t ready," Luis explained. "If we wouldn’t send an athlete back at 80%, we shouldn't send a first responder either." This principle is central to Ready Rebound's operations. They bring physicians and physical therapists to local training academies in new markets, allowing them to experience the job’s physical demands firsthand. This ensures that providers are not just reading job descriptions but truly understanding what it takes to be a public safety worker. As you know, Guardian Alliance is committed to helping law enforcement agencies leverage services and technology to improve recruitment and retention. Ready Rebound is rolling out its services to law enforcement agencies nationwide and we felt it was important to get their message out to our community as this is a great solution for quickly getting your officers healthy and back on the job. At Guardian Alliance Technologies, we share a similar vision—transforming law enforcement recruitment by modernizing and streamlining hiring and background investigation processes. Our cloud-based system significantly cuts down recruitment time and costs while offering customizable features for enhanced visibility and efficient tracking. Interesting to read "If you wanted to completely destroy any psychological safety in the group, what would you do?" and thinking how different groups on here would interact with that idea. As always, worth reading if you work with, within, or against, teams.
Experimentalist | Psychological Safety | Organisational Learning | High Performing Teams | Just Culture | Research | Public Speaking | Leadership
If you wanted to completely destroy any psychological safety in the group, what would you do? If you wanted to create a culture of fear, where nobody felt safe to speak up, suggest ideas, highlight concerns, or admit a mistake, how would you do that? One very effective way to do that is simply being rude. Cut people off mid-sentence, walk away while they’re speaking, shout or snap at them, tell them their ideas or suggestions are stupid or that it isn’t their place to speak up. Recognising and addressing incivility is not just about improving the atmosphere in the workplace so that it’s a nice place to be; it’s about safeguarding patients and enhancing the quality of care. Civility Saves Lives.

Your talent isn't better than their genius because: 📌 Excessive self confidence: We know how it takes a team to make the dream work. 📌 Believe in routine: Routine works in some cases but the best held-unto believe system is in dynamics. 📌 Relationships/connections: We won't say much here; We know you know 😏 Now, more importantly, see the first point... Maybe the more important reason you haven't bagged that offer is because you haven't let us walk you through the connection. Looking out for your mental health workers pays off. In 2022, Pinnacle Treatment Centers began an employee retention program that included Motivo for their clinical supervision. They wanted to be the kind of company that people wanted to have a career with -- something truly difficult in the Mental Health Worker Shortage. In the first year: --They expanded their hiring pool because they could offer clinical supervision to their prospects. --Their retention rate improved by 8% and they filled 90% of their counselor positions, reducing their recruitment costs. --Their Time to Fill (how soon new recruits started their first day with Pinnacle) improved. On top of that, only 2 Motivo clinical supervisees left during the calendar year. Read the Motivo/Pinnacle case study here: https://lnkd.in/gPtAT_NE

Unlocking Safe and Efficient Return to Work with Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) At Comp Rx Physical Therapy, we know that helping injured workers get back to their jobs safely is a top priority. That’s why we offer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) to provide objective assessments of an employee’s physical abilities. FCEs play a crucial role in ensuring that workers are physically prepared to meet the demands of their roles. For case managers and physicians, FCEs offer valuable insights to support decisions about work readiness, modified duty, or additional treatment needs. By identifying functional limitations and capabilities, we create tailored rehab plans that enhance recovery and minimize the risk of re-injury. If you’re managing workers’ compensation cases, consider the benefits of including FCEs in your return-to-work planning. Let’s work together to ensure your employees are set up for success!
