I am proud to support my 16-year-old son, Locke, in his Student Visionaries of the Year campaign to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). His team Lockedown Leukemia (https://lnkd.in/eJYhEB_T) is competing against others in Colorado to raise money to stop blood cancer in its tracks. Since I lost my father, also named Locke, to acute myeloid leukemia in 2019, we have raised over $250K for this life-saving organization. LLS has funded 54 of the 64 blood cancer treatments approved by the FDA since 2017, and 40% of all cancer drugs approved by the FDA since 2000 were initially approved for blood cancer.
