Gene Pryor launched LOGIC Services in 1997 along with partner Dana Caverly. He wanted to focus on a busines model that saved businesses money. Gene and Dana had spent many years in leadership in the transportation logistics industry and decided they would build a non-asset based 3PL. Unlike other transportation management consultants, they didn’t want their clients to be burdened with extra costs that stunt their business growth. Gene and Dana had years of experience as transportation management consultants for companies like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Spartan Stores, and Family Christian Stores, which enabled them to understand the unique needs and challenges of transportation management. Today, Gene's grandson, Chase Pryor, works alongside him, having quickly moved from an intern to learning the family business and working together with Gene on behalf of LOGIC clients. For both Gene and Chase, relationships are the focal point of LOGIC Services.
