Dear Diary, June 7, 2024This week has been an exhilarating journey as we immersed ourselves in the vibrant community of IT Nation and prepared for PartnerFest24. The energy and camaraderie at the beginning of the week were palpable, setting the stage for a week dedicated to deepening our understanding and connection with our partners. Empathy Mapping Insights: From our empathy map, we gained a comprehensive view of our partners' experiences. Journey Mapping Insights: Our journey map illuminated the various stages our partners go through and the touchpoints where we can make a difference Applying Our Insights: With PartnerFest24 on the horizon, we are translating these insights into actionable strategies to enhance our partners' experience: 1. Product Enhancements: We are prioritizing features that address the pains and amplify the gains identified in the empathy map. This includes tools for better time management, proactive alerts, and simplified processes.  2. Marketing Strategies: Our campaigns will highlight how we can help partners achieve stability and efficiency. We will use real partner stories to demonstrate our impact.  3. Support Initiatives: We are enhancing our support resources, creating detailed guides, and hosting interactive sessions to address common challenges.  4. Community Engagement: Building a strong partner community where they can share and learn from each other is a priority. We are investing in platforms and events that facilitate this exchange. Reflection: This week has reaffirmed the importance of empathy in our relationships with partners. By immersing ourselves in the community feel of IT Nation and gearing up for PartnerFest24, we've strengthened our commitment to understanding and addressing our partners' needs. I feel optimistic about the path ahead. As we continue to embed empathy into our strategies and actions, I believe we will build stronger, more resilient partnerships. 🎥 Made it into a few clips from Macildowie Recruitment and Retention’s highlight video from their “Funding, Tech and Talent for Growth Event” hosted at University of Leicester School of Business. 🤖 Paul Bratcher and I delivered our “AI guys” double-act which outlined the opportunities and challenges for AI implementation in business. 👾 We presented some practical frameworks for AI project selection, and finished with a cautionary case study - a company logo, CEO and professional video about a company which used AI to accelerate growth - all fabricated using AI. 🏙️ I’ve previously secured funding for, and managed the development of AI and analytics software across a range of industries. I am particularly interested to see (i) How AI is adopted, and the creative ways in which it used by normal (non-technical) people, and (ii) How policymakers tread the fine line between encouraging innovation and the responsible use of AI to benefit business and society.
