#RHEL roadmap 'Stream 9 mid-2021 (RHEL 9 mid-2022) Stream 8 ends mid-2024 Stream 10 mid-2024 (RHEL 10 mid-2025) If Red Hat maintains its 3 year Cadence on RHEL, with Fedora EL Next turning into Stream the year before, we should see the Stream X+2 just as the prior Stream X ends. Gorka Porteiro - Stream 10 is finally hitting the official release servers, so it's mirror system, even though the official announcement hasn't been made yet, and the project page still only has Stream 9. Previously there was a separate release area for it, kinda pre-Alpha/Alpha. Most of that work was under the Fedora project's ELN (Enterprise Linux Next). This means the fork from Fedora 40 is really happening. Once it's forked from Fedora, it is no longer rebased on Fedora, and becomes the Stream for RHEL, in this case, RHEL 10 (due 2025). Just noticed Stream 10 ISOs are now in the mirror system, and no longer via separate, select avenues, as of mid-June. - - - EDIT: for those unfamiliar with all the nuances of the Red Hat OS lifecycle... If Red Hat maintains its 3 year Cadence on RHEL, with Fedora EL Next turning into Stream the year before, we should see the Stream X+2 just as the prior Stream X ends. Stream 9 mid-2021 (RHEL 9 mid-2022) Stream 8 ends mid-2024 Stream 10 mid-2024 (RHEL 10 mid-2025) Previously there was a separate release area for it, kinda pre-Alpha/Alpha. Most of that work was under the Fedora project's ELN (Enterprise Linux Next). This means the fork from Fedora 40 is really happening over June-July. Once it's forked from Fedora, it is no longer rebased on Fedora, and becomes the Stream for RHEL, in this case, RHEL 10 (due 2025).
