One of the most important lessons in leadership and life is understanding that not every setback is the end of the world. The truth is, no one has made it through without facing some form of failure.
I am yet to meet anyone who has:
- Never fumbled an email or struggled during a call,
- Never lost a competitive bid,
- Never missed out on a promotion they believed they earned,
- Never faced defeat in a game or challenge.
It’s in these moments of failure that we gain perspective and truly learn to appreciate success. It’s what makes that eventual win feel so rewarding.
By accepting failure as a natural part of the process, we reduce stress and open ourselves up to more opportunities to succeed.
So, next time you're in a high-pressure meeting, chasing a deal, or presenting an RFP—remember, it’s not life or death. Keep your focus, learn from the journey, and the wins will come.
One of the most underrated secrets to success is to start before you're ready.Embrace the unknown and take the leap!

5 . Take the First Step

Steps to Success:
I know you would believe that “The real success is learnt from worst failures."
1. Own Your Failures, Not Your Successes
"The Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said, “When the best leader’s work is done, the people say, ‘We did it ourselves." To be a great leader, you’ll need to get in the habit of letting your team own the wins, while you assume responsibility for risks and failures.
2. Turn Your To-Do List into a To-Lead List
We feel the perfect day is to wake up with all kinds of energy and enthusiasm for a day, have a list of what you want to achieve based on what you have and at the end of the day look at your note pad that this has become perfect. Hope everything was executed as planned based on To-do List became a reality To Lead List.”
From the Daily Coach:

Decision making can be really difficult, can't it? We can procrastinate for ages over an important decision, and worry we'll make a "bad decision." But what if we don't make a right or wrong decision?
How To Always Make The Right Decision is the new video from Heather Wright, FPSA. In it, Heather explores the idea of making the decision right, whatever the decision we settle on. It is a complete change of mindset to develop your decision making.
