This project involved a complex restoration of a Grade II listed building. One of the intricacies of the design was the new stainless steel roof truss rods, in tension, to support the studio roof. Our deliberate use of steel, as opposed to timber, created an unrestricted space and the light nature of the trusses enhanced this studio’s quirky, modernist, interior.
