3 ways to embrace conflict management in a project environment or in any relationship. Practice active listening without passing judgment on the ideas or the individuals presenting them. By genuinely hearing out different perspectives, you foster an atmosphere of openness and respect within the team or relationship. Be selective in the conflicts you engage in(choose your own battle), considering the parties involved, the significance of the issue, and the manner in which you approach resolution. Instead of engaging in unnecessary confrontation, focus on addressing conflicts that truly impact the project or relationship, while navigating office politics diplomatically. Strive to find common ground with those involved in the conflict, articulating your own viewpoints while seeking areas of agreement. If resolution seems unattainable, don't hesitate to suggest a temporary break or "cooling off" period to diffuse tensions and preserve mutual respect. Employers please encourage your employees to get the rest they need and maintain a healthy work/life balance. In addition, business should be taken care of during regular business hours. Non-emergent issues and questions can wait until the employee return to work. Managers, you should also maintain a healthy work/life balance. Well rested people provide optimal performance. Also, please respect employees who are on leave. If you are going to contact an employee on leave including PTO, the employee should be monetarily compensated.

It’s crucial that we learn to embrace it. From moment to moment we face the unknown. No matter how much we plan & prepare there are always unexpected & unforeseen occurrences that arise. The truth is that we never really know the full scope of what’s going on at any given moment. We live in the unknown. We typically take an apprehensive stance to the unknown, however there are so many benefits that reside in there. Miracles are pleasant, unexpected & inexplicable occurrences. Surprises are unforeseen & usually joyous events. Blessings are unanticipated dispensations of God’s favor. Each of these are desirable outcomes that are rooted in the unknown.
