It’s fascinating how we easily pinpoint our own flaws, weaknesses, and shortcomings, while being quick to offer praise and support to others. During our time in Tallin, we witnessed a beautiful display of camaraderie among the swimmers, where encouragement and admiration flowed freely. The Bluetits community celebrated every individual’s courage and effort, regardless of race outcomes or performance. It was a reminder that we are often our harshest critics, downplaying our achievements and brushing off praise from others. Let’s learn to accept the kindness and praise that comes our way, just as freely as we give it to others.
