Immutable Social Media with reversed blockchain Dear colleagues, Freedom of speech has been struggling lately, and perhaps it's time to consider an immutable social media platform. I'd appreciate feedback on this idea. We could use an existing P2P network as the foundation, making content sources immutable too. We create data blocks identified by content hashes, and a subset forms a logical network (L-network) on top of the P-network. Users and servers (Registrators) handle dynamic data. Registrators use blockchain to track transactions, ensuring that information is authentic. Each block has a BLOCK ID, INDEX ID, and a predictable NEXT INDEX ID to track future blocks when they will be created. This builds a "reversed" blockchain, where the user is the first link in the chain, and the last block doesn't exist, but its INDEX ID is already known to the consumer of the previous block. A system of indexing servers helps translate logical INDEX IDs to physical IDs. Users can trace all blocks from an author by INDEX ID using a reversed blockchain, preventing content deletion or muting. At the moment, consumers need help from a Platform to find new content from the author, which opens the door to censorship. In the new approach, the Platform is not a hoster or Provider but only an aggregator, making censorship technically impossible. Iran held an election to replace him, but there was a hitch: According to a senior official in Iran’s military, the nation’s citizens were too distracted to properly vet the candidates. Millions of Iranians, supposedly, were too busy clicking on their phones. 🤖 The game seems to have come out of nowhere. In March, it launched on TON, aka The Open Network, a Web3 ecosystem built on Telegram.
