Over the past months, we've have been part of to the Technical Secretariat of the 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐏𝐄𝐅𝐂𝐑 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, aimed at developing 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬. 🌿 📃 We discussed various sector-specific methodological challenges, leading to the creation of guidelines under the FreshProducePEFCR. These guidelines represent a crucial step towards greater transparency and sustainability in the fresh produce sector. In the next step we’ll be reviewing the draft guidelines in preparation for the public consultation phase in January 2025. 📅 On 13 January Freshfel Europe is organizing an 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 on the PEFCR development.
