Founder of LiveLong.Life. Create opportunities for people to live long, healthy and productive life.
Interesting study by Pulsenmore and Kaiser Permanente showing potential of remote care to replace in person #prenatal visits. The study confirms that remote prenatal care provides same outcomes plus #convenience and #flexibility for patients; it also allows access to care for #disadvantaged population. Very important findings given poor #maternal outcomes in remote areas and for minorities in the US.

The American Heart Association released a groundbreaking study revealing that women's cardiovascular health is perhaps more poorly understood than previously realized. The study highlights unique gender-specific threats to cardiovascular health at critical life stages such as pregnancy and menopause. It cites findings from the CDC that cardiac and coronary conditions are a leading cause of preventable maternal deaths, making up 13%. The FDA issued a draft guidance titled "Diversity Action Plans to Improve Enrollment of Participants from Underrepresented Populations in Clinical Studies." This guidance aims to increase the enrollment of underrepresented populations in clinical studies to enhance the quality of data the FDA receives about potential medical product users. Excited to see how this plays out to improve women's health! #WomensHealth #FDA #CDC #ClinicalTrials #Healthcare #Sitero

🌟 Excited to share my first blog post "The Design and Use of a Program to Predict Maternal Health Risk" 🌟 As a pharmacist deeply invested in problem solving, I'm thrilled to unveil the insights and discoveries from my recent project. In this blog post, I explored the predictive analytics in maternal health. Join me as I discuss the intricacies of designing and implementing a program aimed at predicting maternal health risks. I explored how a simple Decision Tree Classifier can be built to identify potential complications during pregnancy and childbirth, ultimately improving maternal outcomes. The most exciting part of this project is using streamlit to design a GUI. Yes, call me a baby software developer😅. By identifying risk factors early on, healthcare providers can intervene proactively, ensuring the well-being of both mother and child. I invite you to read the full blog post and join the conversation. Let's work together to create a future where every pregnancy is supported with the best possible care. https://lnkd.in/eqPd5udr #MaternalHealth #AIinHealthcare #HealthTech Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and insights!
