Thumbs up or thumbs down? Mayor edition 👍👎
Last week, we welcomed our new class of 39 mayors, representing 11 countries and 5 continents, to the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
See what they had to say – thumbs up or thumbs down – about what city halls need to lead today.
Thumbs down. Comes down. What's up? Yes, great. I'm sorry. Thumbs down. House. Comes up. Yeah, only way to grow. Always for new approaches. With collaboration, we can solve even what feels like the toughest problems that new Richelle faces. Great ideas on how to think about how to run government more efficiently, great ideas for innovations we can pull from other cities to bring to Denver, and great opportunities for thought partners that I can lean on when times get hard. Tell me how to collaborate and how to how to break down the barriers between different actors within the city administration, but with a focus on the customer who is the citizen. Full results that people can see, touch and feel. It's essential to make people believe a government. For too long, mayors have had no resources to develop as leaders to connect his peers to find the best ideas and bring them back to their cities. That's really what the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative is all about.
