Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a pop of color! 💜 Our DEI Affinity Group, Amigos Unidos, hosted a fun event at our Phoenix campus yesterday! Employees were able to participate in an interactive passport activity and learn about different cultures and countries. We also heard from State Representative Analise Ortiz and employees enjoyed a delicious Hispanic cuisine lunch! The Men's Circle of Wellness Gathering was an amazing opportunity to participate in discussions surrounding critical health issues impacting our tribal communities. This inaugural event creates a culturally sensitive environment where men can openly discuss health concerns in their communities including substance use, diabetes, behavioral health issues, and much more. What an enriching experience joining forces with Southwest Human Development for a day of volunteering! 📚 🎨 Many families in need struggle to provide books to their children, and sometimes new parents are not aware of the importance of early language and literacy. Southwest Human Development has partnered with individuals, neighborhoods, local businesses, as well as other nonprofit organizations in Maricopa County to place as many 'Little Free Libraries' as possible for children who need them most. These libraries are "take one, leave one" book stations. We are so grateful to help make a difference for kiddos in Arizona. 🧡 #Volunteering #CommunityService #ArizonaPride
