Stop complaining about tackling responsibilities outside your job description.
Here's why.
My first few jobs in digital marketing and social media, I was the entire marketing "department".
In my first job, I sat in the back of a sweaty doctors office at a broken desk and outdated monitor.
I did absolutely everything...
✔ Running all social media
✔ Email marketing campaigns
✔ Creating all print documents from pamphlets, promotions, etc
✔ Graphic design and video editing
You get the point.
It was like this for my first few jobs, on a VERY entry level salary.
Was I compensated for all the roles I was filling?
Absolutely not.
Was I thrown into the deep end, with so many responsibilites?
Absolutely.
And while I didn't realize it at the time, I truly believe those first jobs developed my character.
It taught me time management.
It taught me not to be a one-trick poney.
It taught me how valuable it is to be able to step into multiple facets of a business and offer value where value is needed.
I get the want and need for money.
But the more you learn...
The more you can offer...
The more well rounded you become...
All of these things will not just create temporary financial gains, but long term, career based, success.
You have more time then you think.
