Life is confusing. So many words can mean the same thing. 😫 Not these two though. 🫣 What is the point of dictatorial advocacy? It doesn't grow a movement, it only grows hate and animosity. And one goal of advocacy is *usually* to gain support. Not spread hate and judgment. Imagine having an entire conversation with an "advocate" wherein the only thing they talk about is how others didn't do and think what he did and thought at the time he did and thought it. 🤔 Imagine also that this "advocate" can't connect the purpose of his post to the purpose of his "advocacy". Even when asked. In fact, he completely rebukes the idea that his purpose matters in the context of the conversation. Finally, Imagine that this "advocate" who doesn't mention his advocacy or tie it to his post to his purpose believes that he, and he alone defines the word advocacy and has the power to reject all other definitions. Even the one on the dictionary. 😬 That's not an advocate. That's a dictator. By definition. #advocate #community #dobetter #purpose
