Defining peacebuilding can be challenging, as its impact often depends on context, perceptions, and values. 🌎 The most practical way to talk about peacebuilding is to hear directly from those who have experienced conflict and are working to build peace. 🤝 During a recent visit to Guatemala, Assistant Secretary-General for Peacebuilding Support Elizabeth Spehar met with local Mayan indigenous communities, where the Peacebuilding Fund has supported local efforts since 2021.
