🏈 The 49ers are heading to the Superbowl, and it's a moment of celebration! 🎉 But let's take a moment to reflect on the leadership that brought them here. Leadership, like football, is not just about the star players or the flashy moments. It's about the strategy, the teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of a shared goal. It's about the captain who sets the pace and tone for the team. It's about the rookie who learns resilience and patience, waiting for their moment to shine. In our professional lives, we can take a page from this playbook. Leadership is about fostering growth, valuing each team member's unique contributions, and creating an environment where everyone feels supported and driven to succeed. It's about showing up every day with authenticity, and being committed to the values that define us, not just the job we do. So, as we cheer on the 49ers, let's also celebrate the leadership lessons we can learn from their journey to the Superbowl. Here's to the leaders who inspire us, on and off the field! 🏈🎉 #Leadership #Superbowl #49ers #Teamwork"

Start Your Day the Special "K" Way! "If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader." - Dolly Parton There is no greater mark of leadership than a legacy that inspires others. One of the most powerful ways to inspire others is by leading others with a spirit of enthusiasm. We all need someone who will cheer us on, believe in our dreams, and support our efforts. And when it comes to leadership, you have an opportunity to provide that for the people around you. Whether you lead a team, serve a customer base, or simply work alongside others, a spirit of enthusiasm can inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more. A tiny bit of encouragement...Just Because 🦋🦋🦋 #leader #leadership #inspire #encourage #become #becomemore #just #justbecause

NEW LEGGETT LEADERSHIP CARD! 🌸 Don’t forget the importance of symbolism and culture. Bolman and Deal (2017) dive deep into how leaders can build culture with their teams. If your team has a healthy culture where there are clear traditions and values, you have a team with a soul who can push through challenges and be better for it. How you can help build this culture (Bolman & Deal, 2017): 1️⃣ Build a diverse team with different perspectives. 2️⃣ Model the culture you want to build. It starts with you. 3️⃣ Tell stories that carry values and are examples of the culture you want.

How many of us have woken up or been hit by something at work and asked ourselves. "Why am I here and what am I doing this for?" If the top of the list was for the pay, it is time to get clear about your purpose. Practical leadership every day helps to answer that question and keep the meaning alive in the hearts and minds of your team. If you are not doing what Dan Beck does and reminding the team of the Vision so regularly that you feel like a broken record, you have a very simple thing to do to really make a difference for your team and business. Tell them why, share the stories, track your progress towards meaningful goals, celebrate the stuff that really matters to them. I just got off a call with Dan and absolutely love what he is doing at 401GO and the impact he is having in the lives of his team. Who else is a great Visionary leader we can all learn from? #Leadership

Are two brothers better than one? Clearly the answer is yes! Different perspectives can really help with innovation, and sure, we disagree, but we can always find a path from both angles. With joint leadership, whether it’s between brothers or others, you can combine unique strengths, energy, and insights. I'd like to think this fosters a dynamic and well-rounded approach to tackling challenges! In a world that flourishes on teamwork, two heads are often better than one! #Leadership #Teamwork #Collaboration #goadbros The Stow Brothers

As a professional, we come across, and work with, four types of leaders, those are visible easily; 1. Leading from the front. 2. Leading from the centre. 3. Leading from the behind. And the last one is definitely not the least type which causes corporate world lot of stiffness; 4. Leading from nowhere to nowhere, firmly holding their places. We ourselves can relate to one of the aforesaid as our leadership style as well. However, a very interesting one is brainchild theory of Ronald A. Heifetz and Donald L. Laurie, what they call "Get on the balcony". Let me interpret the above mentioned idea. Heifetz and Laurie say that , as a leader it is imperative to play right across the field with your team. However, they urge not to get swept or too much indulgence there. As a leader you have to move back and forth between the thickness of action and attentive view from 'balcony'. This lets you see things that many let go or miss observing. Two things which need to be observed by leaders, as called out by the duo, are 1. Power struggles & 2. Work avoidance. Truly both of these are prevalent in the corporate world. Do share your pick of leadership trait or the one missed out here. #leadership #growth #traits #team #leadingtheway #weekender #musings
