When Alise began her maternity leave, it was a reminder of the critical role she plays in our company. Her absence highlighted the vast amount we accomplish for our clients, and it was a period of both challenge and opportunity for our team. Fortunately, we had proactively documented around 90 procedures that form the foundation of our processes at Marketing Intent. This meticulous preparation proved invaluable as we navigated Alise’s responsibilities, ensuring our clients continued to receive the high level of service they expect. Stepping into Alise’s shoes was a humbling experience that underscored the depth of her contributions. While it was challenging, it was also rewarding to see how well we could adapt. Our unique model at Marketing Intent enabled Alise to enjoy her time with her family, confident that her responsibilities were in capable hands. At Marketing Intent, we understand that maternity leave should be seen as a brief interlude, not as a disruptor to the company or to Alise's career. While we greatly value our work, our clients, our team and the financial benefits our work provides us, we also know that our personal lives are paramount and serve as the foundation to everything we do. At Marketing Intent, we understand the complexities of the marketing landscape. Alise’s maternity leave has strengthened our abilities even more. If you need marketing assistance, contact us at Marketing Intent. Let's discuss how we can support your goals. #MarketingIntent #TeamStrength #ClientSuccess #WorkLifeBalance

As I prepare for my maternity leave, I’ve been reflecting on the common perception that long-term leave means taking a break from responsibilities. In reality, this transition brings mixed emotions. While I’m excited for this new chapter, a part of me is concerned about how my work will be managed in my absence. As professionals, we don’t just walk away from our duties when we step out of the office. Just as we care for our households, we carry a sense of responsibility for our workplace, even from afar. For me, work isn’t just a place I go—it’s a space where I’ve invested my energy, passion, and dedication. It’s about finding balance and recognizing that both our personal and professional lives need attention and care. Would we truly feel at peace without tending to our household responsibilities? The same goes for our professional commitments. As employees, we must love our work and embrace our responsibilities. #ilovemywork 💟 #Iamgratefultobepartofagreatworkplace #sharingmyownpointofview

Returning to work after Maternity Leave Here's what I learned as I am in my second week back at work after maternity leave: 1. Say Yes to Help, do not try and be superwoman doing it all, you cannot pour from an empty cup. An overwhelmed and over stretched Mamma and Employee benefits no one. 2. It's going to be hard, may the force be with you! Accepting that this is your new reality means you're halfway there. 3. An organization that cares about their employees as much, if not more than their customers, makes the world of difference. This is exactly why I did not mind returning to work before my little bundle of love and dirty diapers were even 2 months old. 4. It's ok to be both sad and excited. You're a human being with a whole spectrum of emotions, you're allowed to feel them all, there's no right or wrong way to feel. How was your transition back to work after maternity leave? #workingmoms #maternityleave #ex

Check out this checklist below from The Mom Project re: return to work. I cannot stress how important it is to prepare for the dreaded return from maternity leave transition. Another thing I want to add is that it’s okay to ask for help; empowering really. Your baby will look up to you one day when you tell your motherhood story. We don’t have to go through it alone. #MomLifeTransitions #EmpoweredMotherhood #ReturnToWorkPrep #MaternityLeaveJourney #SupportiveMotherhood #AskForHelp #MomSupportNetwork #MaternityLeaveTransition #MomLifeEmpowerment

✨Back from maternity leave and ready to reconnect!✨ After a life changing season of becoming a MOM ☺️, I’m excited to jump back into my professional life at HMS Networks and resume conversations, collaborations, and learning. I’m looking forward to connecting with both familiar faces and new ones as we synergize our global workforce & network 🌎 This time in my life has reinforced for me how crucial it is to foster a workplace culture that supports working parents—especially postpartum mothers. We know from research that diversity isn't just the right thing to do—it’s a business advantage. 📊Data shows that companies in the top quartile for gender diversity are 25% more likely to have above-average profitability. Research also reveals that organizations with inclusive cultures experience up to a 60% improvement in decision-making. And when it comes to supporting working parents, it’s equally important: creating an environment where postpartum mothers feel valued and supported leads to greater retention, engagement, and productivity. We can’t overlook the critical role that workplace flexibility and mental health resources play in ensuring a more inclusive and profitable workplace. 🫱🏼🫲🏽Let’s also remember to lead with empathy. Transitioning back to work after maternity leave (or any leave) can be a delicate balance, and small gestures of understanding and flexibility can make a world of difference. By fostering compassion, we help create environments where everyone can thrive. This should be the norm, by the way, and exercised with everyone you come across, not just working parents. I’m excited to reconnect with this amazing community and work together with my HMS colleagues to build teams that support each other and our partners.
