How do we expect to have wellbeing when we aren’t welldoing? To be is to do. It doesn’t matter what you offer to your employees or clients if you aren’t doing the do, walking your walk or talking your talk otherwise it’s all just pump! There are so many options out there to support people in the workplace or life but it starts with an intention and a culture. The culture and welldoing comes first and the wellbeing is a by-product. My personal experience that boosted team morale and productivity. when we take care of our people, they take care of the business. I recently started a new employee wellness program that has helped our team feel better and work better. The idea was simple: we wanted to make sure everyone felt good and stayed healthy at work. We began with some easy steps like weekly fitness classes, giving extra days off for mental health, and holding workshops about staying healthy. Everyone loved these changes and we saw a big difference right away. People were more energetic, happy, and worked well together. One great story is about our weekly sports day. At first, only a few people joined, but now almost everyone in the office looks forward to it. It has become a fun way for us to relax and bond as a team. Another positive change was adding mental health days. Employees appreciated the time to recharge, which helped them come back to work feeling refreshed and ready to tackle their tasks. Seeing these positive changes has been incredibly rewarding! It's clear that caring for our employees' well-being is important and leads to success for everyone. #HRSuccess #EmployeeWellness #WorkplaceWellbeing #TeamMorale

We're only as good as our people, wouldn't you agree? To celebrate Employee Health and Wellness Day on May 18th, I've been reflecting on how the little things can make a BIG difference at work. 🌟 Let's take mindfulness sessions at 3 PM for example. I had the fantastic opportunity to lead 10-minute mindfulness sessions daily for a few years. Let me tell you, employees literally watched the clock because they were so excited to relax. Those few minutes of collective calm not only refreshed us but also boosted our focus. And then there was learning CPR - Participating in CPR training with my colleagues was incredible. It’s empowering to know that we’re all equipped with this vital life-saving skill. Finally, I think about when management teams encourage walks and stretches. My HR team handed out walking maps to inspire employees to get up and stretch our legs during the day. After I went for a walk, or a group of us get our steps in, we felt more energized and ready to tackle our emails and excel sheets. I'm so grateful for organizations who understand the benefits of employee health. Employee programming goes way beyond health; it's about fostering a supportive, connected community.
