If your team is under stress, they may wish to unload their burdens to each other or you. Here are a few tips to make that easier: Seeking to understand, rather than feeling other’s problems can be a good way to have empathy and compassion for your team. It’s also important to set boundaries so that blowing off steam doesn’t turn into a stressor for you or the rest of the team. Finally, ensure that your needs are being met and receive support from your peers if needed. Happy Friday! https://lnkd.in/gaFkpxZA #stress #workload #team #management

Micromanagement can indeed stifle creativity, confidence, and work motivation. When employees feel constantly scrutinized and controlled in their tasks, it can lead to a lack of autonomy and a fear of making mistakes, inhibiting their ability to think innovatively and take ownership of their work. This can ultimately result in decreased morale and productivity within the team or organization. Encouraging trust, autonomy, and empowerment fosters a more positive and creative work environment. #micromanagement #moracle #confidence #productivity #turnover #workenvironment #goal #demotivation #lackoftrust #leading #ownership #team

Say it with me: "If EVERYTHING is a priority, __________________ is a priority." If you don't know the answer, message me. 😉 This was an insightful read about a challenge I hear so often in the workplace. 💡One tactic I really liked is "Pinpoint the source of urgency." If it's rooted in anxiety, challenge your assumptions and reframe your beliefs so that you aren't pushing so hard to see something get done now. 💡Another tip was to put some psychological distance between yourself and the work in front of you. Asking questions like, “If I imagine it’s a year from now, what is the most important thing for us to do now?” 💡A final suggestion was to empower your team to push back against urgent requests. Make it safe for them to do so and celebrate it when others actually do it. ❓How do you combat a false sense of urgency in your work, or the work of your team? #worklife #timemanagementtips

Listen up folks. Let nobody tell you to bring your best to the table, everyday. It is humanly not possible, and it shouldn't ever be a mandate. If your best today is completing half the tasks you are assigned to, IT IS ABSOLUTELY FINE! Not everyday you are expected to perform out of the box. Not everyday you can keep up consistency. So, if your best today is focusing on 5 tasks and you do not have the mental bandwidth to do the rest, reach out, notify, share the load. Ask for help. And if anyone shames you for the same, SHAME THEM FOR BEING STUPID. We really need to break this stigma of bringing your absolute best to work everyday. Did you not bunk classes in school or put your head down because you weren't feeling it? Workplaces are no different. You have every right to not feel your best, everyday. Somedays, you will take your brands and team by storm, somedays, you'll just not want to do much. Normalize it. Your CEO, CMO, CTO, everyone has such days too. Normalize being human. #peoplematter #workculture #mentalhealth #workplace #leadership #culture #foodforthought

I can handle a lot of team tensions at work, but family tensions? Not so much. Our reactive tendencies can be different depending on the system we're in and our role in it. For example when I work with teams, I am a part of the system as we work together, but my role as a facilitator is such that what will trigger my reactive self might not be as present. When I am at home, I have both the role of the mother and the wife, and these roles come with different expectations, values and priorities. From that place, different parts of me are activated and it might not be as easy to avoid being reactive. I find it interesting to observe my behaviour in various systems and in different roles to gain more self-awareness. We can see ourselves so clearly in certain environments and in others, it feels like we're in the dark. 😅 What are you noticing about your reactive self in various scenarios? #businesscoaching #leadershiptraining #emotionsatwork #emotionalintelligence #systemsintelligence #businesscoach #coachinginorganisations #leadershipcircle #leadershipcircleprofile #reactiveself #selfawareness

Helping managers in Sales & Marketing at MNCs, who encounter challenges in team management to build their team and improve performance so they can manage their stress, avoid burnout to have more quality time with family.
Are you feeling overloaded? Do you feel that no matter what you do or how hard you work, you can never get on top of things? Do you feel that no matter what you do or how hard you work, you still find yourself spend your weekend to complete your works which supposed to be completed by your team members? More simplicity in your workplace will help you. Grow your team and help them perform better will help you. Build an united team which work toward common goals will help. Using the 5D rule below will help you control your work. It reduces feeling overwhelmed. It creates a better, more united team. Focus on doing less, but doing it very well. 1️⃣ Delete ↳ Can you remove a task from your list? ↳ Does it really need to be done? 2️⃣ Delegate ↳ Can someone else on your team do this task instead of you? 3️⃣ Defer ↳ Can this task wait until later when you have more time? 4️⃣ Diminish ↳ Can you make the task smaller or simpler? 5️⃣ Do ↳ After looking at the first 4 Ds, do the remaining important tasks yourself. If you still find challenges in doing that, I’m here to help. Send me a message. Start a conversation. ______ 👍 React to support if you like this. ♻️ Repost to share with your network this if you found it helpful. ➕ Follow me (Son Minh Dang) for leadership content like this. #LeadershipDevelopment #WorkLifeHarmony #TeamManagement
