Winning 2024 sales deals in the construction sector will be tough. We can expect to wrestle with a mix of old and new challenges, like: – Geopolitical tensions and conflicts – Shrinking development projects and uncertain economy – Building investments on hold – Pricing fluctuations and high interest rates – Persisting inflation It's “easy” to sell when the industry is growing. So, I've learned a few 'tricks' that can help you overcome challenging times: ✅ Take a deep look into your customer base, product portfolio, and competitors ✅ Organise in-person visits and reconnect with high-value customers ✅ Analyse your customers in more depth and find out their real needs ✅ Deep dive into your company's competitive advantages ✅ Re-evaluate the methods that your salespeople use ✅ Modernise your offer submission methods ✅ Develop alternative sales strategies ✅ Plan for the medium and long term But it's not only about what to do when times are tough. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼, so you're not sorry later.
