Back-to-school season … it’s not just for kids anymore! As summer comes to a close, our focus may be on getting our children back to school for the new year. An increasing percentage of undergraduate college students are adults who are 25 years and older and are either going to college for the first time or after an extended break from school. This can be an exciting time, but also stressful. Want to learn more about how to make your return to school more successful? https://ow.ly/fqRS50Tk0Yr

No summer break from school Given learning loss / summer slide that happens with long summer breaks, we’re thinking of smaller more regular breaks for the Schools of Entreprenuering vs the traditional long summer break This would mean ~41 weeks of school vs 36 (typical amt for most states) Here are rough breaks there'd be: February (Presidents' Day): 1 week April (Easter): 1 week June (Early Summer Break): 2 weeks Late August: 3 weeks Mid-October (Mid-Fall Break): 1 week Late November (Thanksgiving): 1 week Late December (Christmas/New Year): 2 weeks WDYT? Tell me what complexities this might cause you as a parent (or for your child) as well as if you like this Note: Students won't hate coming to these schools

How a college makes $419 before you take a class. An Orientation fee. That’s how. A college in Virginia charges a $419 fee as an orientation fee. Then you can pay $1,800 for a 3 credit class after that. Now, there may be no way you can avoid that $419 Orientation fee but that $1,800 course cost? You can reduce it by almost $1,300 by taking it at the local community college. Or, yet another option have your high schooler take the course at their local community college IN high school. Parents, there are things you can’t control the cost of when it comes to college but there ARE things you can control the cost of if you have the right strategy. We taught our 4 year old how to play Jenga this Thanksgiving. She’s REALLY good and has crazy steady hands! 🗼 Hi! 👋 I’m Josh and for 12 years, I’ve worked with thousands of students and parents to get them to graduate from college IN high school, saving them and their families thousands of dollars on the high cost of college by strategically using resources already available but rarely discussed in high school. 1. 👍 I post at 9:00 AM EST every day so Like, Follow, and pass this along to another parent that is also trying to figure out to maximize these high school years. 2. 📲 When you’re ready, let’s discover how you can graduate your child from college IN high school
