Here’s a business idea. Open up a store in a shopping mall that sells newspapers and landline phones. Carefully identify your ICPs, and use AI to develop personas, create initial messaging and content for customer acquisition. Use geo-targeting, digital signage and promotions with other stores to target likely and current target mall shoppers. Augment your marketing database with data enrichment, intent data and progressive profiling for deep customer profiles. Segment carefully and use marketing automation with funnels optimized by AI. Dumb?   Yes. The point: AI and marketing tech won’t fix fundamental business model and product issues. Get the fundamentals down first.
