Innovating component production with 3D printing 💡 Did you know we use wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) at the BMW Group Additive Manufacturing Campus? Also known as build-up welding, the process allows us to produce metallic vehicle components extremely quickly that are lighter and more rigid. In future, we plan to use WAAM-produced components in our production vehicles. #BMWGroup #BMWiFACTORY
