WHY DO CREDENTIALS MATTER? Credentials matter. It is understood across the construction industry that training credentials are important and are a vital part of our educational system. While there is ongoing debate about whether bachelor’s or master’s degrees should be the universal path, alternative industry credentials continue to be essential for workforce development. In the construction industry, credentials pave the way for lucrative careers, job satisfaction and highly sought after skills. #NCCER #training #Tradeskills

As I progress towards my goal of a PMC career, I can't help but contemplate the challenges that lie ahead. My journey thus far has been marked by intense experiences and valuable lessons, from my service in the Brazilian Army to high-risk situations and my transition to the private sector. Breaking the mold of PMC stereotypes: One of the biggest hurdles I face is the ingrained perception that only Special Forces veterans have what it takes to succeed as PMCs. However, over time, I've learned that the skills and values I've acquired during my military career are just one part of what makes me a qualified professional. I firmly believe in the diversity of experiences and the ability of people from different backgrounds and trajectories to contribute meaningfully to security operations. Navigating the competitive landscape: Another challenge is the constant struggle to break into the market and get recruited. Competition is fierce, and the demand for highly qualified professionals is ever-increasing. In this regard, I'm committed to pursuing continuous training and improvement opportunities, such as my current Criminology degree and PMC-specific training. Learning through challenges: However, more than just facing challenges, this journey has taught me to value the process of personal and professional growth. Each obstacle overcome represents an opportunity for learning and development. I'm determined to press forward, confident that my dedication to excellence and my commitment to global security will lead me to success. Embracing the journey: At this moment of reflection, I recognize that the path to a PMC career can be arduous, but it's also filled with opportunities for growth and personal fulfillment. I'm ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead and continue my journey with determination and courage. #PMC #CareerGoals #SecurityIndustry #Challenges #DiversityMatters

RPL is a process that recognises the skills you've developed on the job in emergency services. Instead of taking new courses, you can get certified for what you already know. This makes it easier to move forward in your career without unnecessary steps. If you're ready to take the next step, RPL might be your right option. Training and assessment delivered under a third-party arrangement with Asset College (RTO31718). #SecureYourFuture #RiskManagementSkills #SafeEnvironments #SecurityCourses #CareerInSecurity #3CIRSecurity #RiskReduction #SecurityProfessional #CareerElevation #SaferWorld #SecurityTraining #FutureSecurityLeaders #3CIRCareerBoost
