We hacked our way to the top!🏆 Proud to share that my team, consisting of Sean Teo, Tianhui Huang and I, won the Best Hack Overall award at Workato's 3rd annual Hackathon! 🎉 This idea was sparked during a lunch with Amanda Wong - thank you, Amanda! This past April, Stephanie Dwight hosted the highly anticipated company-wide hackathon, celebrating innovation among our talented team members. Our winning hack? An AI Copilot solution analyzing automation workflows to identify inefficiencies and generate optimized versions - delivering better customer outcomes like lower costs, decreased tasks usage, and enhanced efficiency. Excited to continue working on this idea and can't wait for it to be incorporated into our product! At Workato, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in automation and AI. Always one of the best days of the year for us at Tangent: Hackathon day! This year was pretty special with people joining us from from 5 countries around the world to be involved. The products we created this year were so good (apart from a Hai-Leigh conversational interface which knew more about the company than me) and it shows how much we are pushing the boundaries in this space. One thing you have to do in this space is get truly cross-functional teams working together across; CX, Data, Tech, Project Management, Strategy and Consulting in order to get the best results. When the industry discusses AI, often we go straight to the tech but the engagement with humans and a rigour around product delivery are equally important. Plus, if you aren't doing a space themed hackathon in 2024, then you haven't lived 😁
